– The original idea was to have the kids accidentally break a priceless stone gargoyle which would have unleashed a curse upon them.
– It’s mentioned that the gargoyle was purchased at a flea market where the seller mentioned it harnessed a dark power. It was originally going to come from the same mysterious pawn shop that the video game controller came from in “Game Over”, but it was changed to a flea market in order to expand future possibilities of where cursed items could originate from.
