Fun Facts!
– Inspired by a series of Youtube videos I watched that depict strange things happening within America’s National Park System.
– The descriptions depicted near the end of the stories where the figures are “lurking unnaturally”, “levitating” and “standing in awkward positions, never once moving”, was the first idea I had for the story, building the rest of it around that particular moment. Something about conjuring up those images felt unsettling and unnatural to me, especially not knowing what the creatures truly were. Sometimes all it takes to write a story is a specific scene or image you have in your head. The rest will come.
– This is the first Micro Terror that was written as a “found footage” story.
