WHAT IS MICRO TERRORS?

Micro Terrors: Scary Stories for Kids is a fictional horror podcast designed to entertain – and spook! – children ages 8 and up. It was created back in 2020 by indie horror author, Scott Donnelly, who decided one day to hand out free short horror stories during trick-or-treat, along with the candy of course. After some of the stories were posted online in 2022, they caught the attention of Darren Marlar, an award-winning podcaster and voice over artist, known for his flagship podcast, Weird Darkness. Darren is also the voice of Tremble, on the Youtube series, The Adventures of Ping and Roar. 

A podcast version of Micro Terrors was proposed by Darren, and soon enough, all the details were worked out and the podcast officially launched in October of 2022.

In January 2025, Micro Terrors acquired a secondary writer for the podcast in Fionna Cosgrove, the author of the middle grade horror series Twisted Trails and Sadie and the Secret of the Swamp.
